Charlotte Boisselier on the stage of La Chapelle

The comedian is back at the La Chapelle theater for a one-woman show that questions the norm and labels and invites you to simply be yourself.

You may have discovered her opening for comedian Élodie Poux in April 2023. Charlotte Boisselier returns to Saint-Martin to present her own show this time. Co-written with Thomas Angelvy and directed by Élodie Poux, “Singulière” is interested in labels and boxes, which Charlotte doesn’t particularly like, she who doesn’t fit into them…

Through a grandmother who tries to understand the acronym LGBT or a middle-class woman depressed at the idea that her children are ordinary, the comedian questions the concepts of normality and singularity by combining stand-up and characters interpretation, stages of life and social findings. For Charlotte, “today we are looking to either fit into the mold or stand out at all costs. My show is written with a backdrop of “Do what you want and be yourself.”

Originally “very shy”, Charlotte Boisselier tasted performance and discovered “the fun of the stage” for the first time in holiday villages when she worked as an entertainer for adults. In 2014, she joined the one-man show school in Paris. After her first show entitled “Immature”, she co-wrote “Singulière” during the Covid period.

Find her this weekend, Friday February 9th and Saturday February 10th, on the stage of the La Chapelle theater in Orient Bay!
